Topshelfers Podcast Episode 232: Kailey Butt
Saturday Feb 13, 2021
Saturday Feb 13, 2021
What makes a person good?
Being an individual and treating each other respect is one of the biggest topics to take away from the start of this episode. We get into the talk of living in Utah and the culture that surrounds it. Kailey grew up LDS and discusses her outlook and what drove her to leave the church. The importance of outside perspectives can change a lot in Utah's culture. And hearing stories of those who left, I hope, will give comfort to others who might be struggling.
A crazy circumstance happens. We get on the topic of true crime and find out Kailey, years ago, was acquaintances with someone who had previously murdered another person. It is quiet the crazy discussion!
PARANORMAL. YES! We got into some paranormal talk. Kailey is an avid paranormal fan and done a lot of investigations herself! Skinwalker Ranch, Dybbk Box, and personal stories get shares. It was exciting. I also might have some spirits in my house. Cheers??
Finally we get to close out on Kailey's success on Tiktok. Her account name is theycallmebutt . She has had several viral videos surrounding her cosplay of Guy Fieri, plus much more. Her journey has just started and she has lots of plans for the future, including her own podcast potentially! I am excited to have her back on and see where she goes with her content creation in the future!

Topshelfers Podcast Episode 231: Aidan Prier
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
A legend to the podcast as of recently finally gets to sit down with me. And boy did he make this a top tier episode. For those of who you don't know, Aidan has been a talk on several recent episodes across the Topshelfers sponsored shows. From funny stories to a certain shedding incident. I knew I had to get him on.
We covered a large range of topics in this episode. A lot of the main focus was on Aidan's decision to leave the LDS church here in Utah. The things that led him to make that decision, his life while he was involved, and where he sees everything at this point. We also branched off on many different stories. One being of a shocking incident at previous job that evolves a grown man, poop, and a floor. It's disgusting.
We also get into the funny side of Aidan for a lot of the podcast with his recent step into the world of romance. And Yes....we talk about the shedding. If you know you know.
Thanks again to Aidan. He doesn't get too involved in social media. Ill pass on any message you want to send to him
Thank you to our sponsor Hepius! Hepius is the number one place to go for premium CBD that won't break the bank. It is locally owned and sourced here in Utah. It is Safe for work, meaning no THC. Topshelfers Podcast Episode 230: Spilling Hot Tea with Calford Zahne
Thursday Feb 04, 2021
Thursday Feb 04, 2021
I am always excited to have the legend himself Calford on for a life update. Not only do we get some super hot tea in regards to certain individuals. But we get into some deeper discussion about dating culture and the destructive nature of not communicating ones full intentions. On lighter subjects: We discuss how weird it is that our generation will be the last ones to experience life before having smart phones. And how weird it was to not be able to have world wide access in our pocket. On top of the fact we will be the old people who will be yelling at the kids how we use to run the streets without technology. Also the stories we will tell about living in 2020. We might not realize it now, but in the future, they will teach history classes about 2020 and the impact it had. And several other topics that ill leave for you to find out. Thank you Calford for always being an amazing guest!

Brianna Wendorf is an inspiring drummer and tattoo artist who is establishing herself as a fantastic artist on both fronts. Erika Hatch is also a musician and has recently gone viral on tiktok! I had the opportunity to set down with both of them and discuss the world of tattooing and being a musician in this covid laced landscape. Getting to hear new perspectives on things I know nothing about is always entertaining for me. We also had the pleasure of Richard Wittaker showing up for a little bit through a very interesting set of coincidences. Tinder really can put you in some funny situations! Make sure to check out their social medias discussed near the end!

Topshelfers Podcast Episode 227: Kassidy Ricks.
Sunday Jan 24, 2021
Sunday Jan 24, 2021
I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Kassidy to go over a topic that should get more attention. And that is leaving a religious organization. Specifically, since we are in Utah, leaving the LDS church. Every story that you hear will be unique, and this one is no exception. With Kassidy having to mature and step up at a young age for her family, it left her questioning at a younger age. And through some personal encounters, she chose to leave the church. (I don't want to give it all away, other wise you wont watch!) I want to personally thank Kassidy for being open and discussing this subject, as well as everyone who reached out to me after the last episode with Cole Cook asking if I can do more episodes similar to this. If you want to see more, please let me know. And if you want to come and tell your story, the door is always open.

I have the amazing opportunity to sit down with Dalton Jensen, creator of The Thinking Project! The Thinking Project is a wonderful podcast that gives small business owners an opportunity to talk about their company. For Dalton to step up during Covid and create a show to allow these business owners to go and spread their products and services is a very awesome thing. Hats off to Dalton. We also get to hear Dalton's message on how to become successful. On top of tips and tricks for creating a lot of value for yourself. I was honored to have almost two hours of Dalton's time, he has a wonderful mind and a very positive outlook. Make sure you go show some support to him!

Sunday Nov 15, 2020
"The Virgin Suicides" By Jeffrey Eugenides. There are a lot of heavy subjects in this book, and in turn, a lot of heavy subjects for this episode of the podcast. The full crew was here for this one, and of course we get into some other stories aside from the book. It is always a great time when we get together for the book club!
